Although I grew up in the Gold Coast Hinterland, the closest I got to knowing what cattle farming was all about, was being the nominated sibling to take the drive with one of my parents to pick up the jerry can of fresh milk from the neighbours down the road. “The Milk Lady” is the nickname I was bestowed during my primary school years.
