Hi! I am Renelle, the Farmer that does Finance.
As you take a look around, you will notice that I am not your typical Finance Broker. If there is one stand-out lesson I have learned in life it is that it’s imperative to always be you in everything you do.
That is why when you engage my services (whether it be for a home loan, vehicle finance, or one of the many other Finance Services available from My Workshop) you will get a real, authentic, and understanding approach that provides for an exceptional and unique customer service experience … with a dash of quirky thrown in the mix!!
My aim is to provide you with a meaningful learning experience with an exceptional customer service focus. As your Finance Broker, I will guide you through the journey, making you feel at ease along the way by answering any questions you may have, and ensuring your understanding. I will also liaise with any relevant people as necessary to make your journey as smooth and memorable as possible.
If there is a way I can provide a little help along the way to create valuable connections, and to take the time to share my farming or other life experiences, then I consider this as a way to do my utmost in my role as YOUR Finance Broker.
In sharing information and experiences we can learn and grow together … as the saying goes, sharing is caring!!
My goal is to take the journey with you and be your Finance Broker for life.
Why the name "Farmer does Finance"?
Because I am exactly that, a Farmer, that does Finance!!!
My partner and I became Cattle Farmers to better manage our land which is in Bushfire Zone, and as the saying goes… get cattle they said … it will be fun they said. Sure, it’s been fun, though also many learnings! We transitioned to Stud Brangus Cattle Breeders, and I re-commenced as a Finance Broker in 2017, to be more present on Farm. Having previously worked in the Finance Industry, it was an easy decision to re-ignite my passion for obtaining those all-important approvals for my customers.
It then became a comical way of introducing myself … as the Farmer that does Finance. It perfectly explains who I am, and so I thought of a fitting name for my business. The name is also a conversation starter around increasing the profile of the heroes that are Farmers.
With not coming from Farming background, transitioning to life as a Farmer certainly hasn’t been an easy feat, and an eye opener in terms of how tough and resilient our Farmers are. I am so very grateful for all the challenges along the way (yes, even drought) as they have all played a part in who I am today. The gratitude I have for my fellow farmers, and people from all walks of life, is enormous!!
We all have our challenges though what we can accomplish if we truly put our minds to it is nothing shortof amazing. This is why my goal, through Farmer does Finance is to understand you, be there to offer support and encouragement, and provide you with some reassurance when you think you can’t.

Yes, that’s right … there is a fair bit of work and preparation PRIOR to submitting your application so you can be confident and trust in my process. Because let’s face it, simply throwing any old seed out into an unprepared paddock is never going to have the same success as performing a soil analysis, matching the crop seed to suit the conditions, and preparing the soil accordingly.
As a Finance Broker, having knowledge and experience across a broad spread of products from multiple lenders is paramount to finding an appropriate loan to suit your unique circumstances.
